I POST DAILY
I will pack your order for ready-made items the same day Sundays through Thursdays, and it will be picked up or delivered to the carrier the next business day. Fridays and Saturdays are my "weekend".

I will post your order for products I make the same day if the products are ready, or it may take a few days for me to create a fresh batch for you. The more products are in your order, the greater the chances that I'll need to make something for you, so it may take a few days to put together. I'll contact you if I expect an unusual delay.

TIME SENSITIVE ORDERS
When timing is important, I need you to put your order all the way through checkout. The only way I can calculate your postage and shipping time is with your full order and your full address. Honestly, if you email me your question about how much it may cost and how long it may take when I don't have your order contents weight and size and your full address always takes an extra day or so to negotiate, and that's time wasted! Tell me by email, phone or in the Comments with your order if you need delivery on or before a specific date. I will find the shipping service that meets your needs, and send you an invoice to pay if it is more than you paid with your order. I'll even run to the post office for you to meet a deadline!

Of course, if I know I can't put your order together and find a service that promises to get it to you by the specific date you communicated to me, I will cancel your order and refund you in full. Of course, if the carrier does not meet its own delivery commitment, I can't refund you but I will make a claim on your behalf if it 's offered. For the record, that's never happened with a Rush delivery!

CARBON NEUTRAL SHIPPING
I compare the costs, insurance and delivery times for your parcel. I use a tool that compares most carriers (Canada Post, #UPS, #Purolator, #FedEx etc) with a preference, all things being equal, for a #CarbonNeutral #delivery service such as Canada Post or Sendle.

If your order is for delivery within Toronto, and the courier is available, your order will be delivered by bicycle at no extra cost!

TRACKING
All parcels are tracked so we both know where your order is, and have an idea of when it will be delivered to you.

ORDERS TO THE US
Many orders to the US are best shipped through UPS. When I use Canada Post, your parcel will be delivered by USPS. I always choose the quickest, most secure option that you paid for.

LATE? DAMAGED? LOST?
If your order is not delivered on time, or items are damaged, I will follow up with the carrier. If there is damage, I need you to take good photos with the original packaging and send them to me the same day! I will need you to be willing to speak with the carrier in order to claim insurance and send out a new parcel to you. I replace your order as soon as the carrier accepts the claim, normally within a few days. Out of hundreds of orders that I post each year, less than one on average are lost, and damage is also uncommon. When you buy from Anarres, you can be sure that I will deliver!
