How To Use Herbs Therapeutically: Make a Nourishing Infusion
Client:
Thanks for your help... Can you recommend a certain amount of each (herb) to take a day? I was planning on about a tbsp each? I normally steep it the night before than drink it the next day.
Thanks again!

Tracey:
The way to use the herbs for therapeutic effect is to create a Nourishing Infusion:
1. Take 1/4 cup or more (a handful if it's fluffy!) and place in a 1-litre mason jar.
2. Fill the jar with boiling hot water.
3. Cover and let steep overnight.
4. Strain and take cold, warm or hot throughout the day.
You may dilute it, incorporate it into a smoothie, or drink it alone or with another tea. Drink the proceeds of the litre jar each day. You may take a break of a day or two per week.
You may premix your herbs. For instance, for your body to absorb iron from nettles, add hibiscus. For a happy tea, mix together oatstraw, nettles, red clover and something flavourful such as peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon or cloves to taste.
