Diffuser: Reeds Natural Aromatherapy
10 natural diffusing reeds
Just fill a glass bottle or jar with vegetable oil, add a dash of essential oil, and pop in your rattan diffusing reeds!
Dimension: 3/16" x 10" and 3/16" x 12"
These reeds are made from all natural, high quality fibrous rattan and have been tested to absorb most of our fragrances when accompanied with our diffuser oil base. The reeds absorb the fragrance to the top and disperses it into the room. You’ll need to use at least 10 in a bottle.
The latest in home fragrance, reed diffusers offer weeks of fragrance without a flame. The reeds absorb the fragrance to the top and disperse it into the room. Once a week you will take all the reeds out and flip them. Other than that there is zero maintenance.
These diffusers can be used for both essential oils and fragrance oils, but essential oils are much thicker than fragrance oils and will not travel up the reed as effectively, so to aid in the dispersal, a little alcohol can be added to the vegetable oil base.
This is a very subtle form of diffusion, so bolder fragrances are recommended for maximum effectiveness.
Advantages of a Reed Diffuser:
• No Flame or Heat: Unlike candles, the reed diffuser has no flame to worry about. This makes the reed diffuser a safer alternative to candles.
• No Going Out: with incense or candles the aroma is temporary relying on active lighting. The reed diffuser lasts all day and night. The only monitoring a reed diffuser needs is a weekly turning of the reeds.
• No Smoke: incense is nice but the smoke can be irritating to some people. The reed diffuser achieves the same purpose but without any smoke.
• No Wax or Mess: incense has ashes, candles have wax, the reed diffuser has neither.
• No Aerosols: unlike sprayed scents, the reed diffusers do not have any added chemicals.
• No Electric Power: you can place a reed diffuser anywhere without having rely on an outlet or change batteries.
• No Heat: the reed diffuser protects the integrity of essential oils.
