Talk & Demo: EcoFest at University of Toronto

When it comes to Zero Waste and reducing our negative impacts on the environment, we are often directed to buy new things. For students and people on fixed and low incomes, zero waste might seem to be a privilege rather than a boon to the budget and environment.

In this hands-on talk and demonstration,
Tracey TieF of Anarres Natural Health Apothecary will introduce you to:
~ Alternatives to hormonal and other environmentally damaging contraception
~ Zero waste menstrual care options that are affordable and effective
~ Zero waste lifestyle choices that are as close as your nearest recycling bin and lost sock drawer
~ Tips on where and how to
shop
prepare food
make your own body care
to save your money and the environment at once

Together, we'll demonstrate solutions and whip up some easy-peasy cleaning and body care products... plus beeswax food wraps.
