Order to donate to FIGHT HUNGER IN AFRICA
ALL PROCEEDS FROM ORDERS AND WORKSHOPS BOOKED AND PAID FOR OCTOBER 17-21 WILL GO TO Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief!
Almost 1 billion people globally are hungry and more than 239 million of these people live in sub-Saharan Africa.
It’s hard to imagine a life constantly struggling to grow and harvest enough nutritional food for yourself and your family. It’s difficult to imagine a life where drought and famine constantly threaten to ravage the land leaving a trail of hunger and illness.
Unfortunately, this is a reality for many African famers.
CPAR is working to help farmers change their lives.
Through our Farmers First program, CPAR is working with African farmers in Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi and Tanzania to help provide the ‘Tools for Food’ that will help them to overcome hunger and generate income. You can help.
How can you help: When you buy a ‘Tools for Food’ kit that includes vegetable and fruit seeds, watering cans and hand tools like a digging hoes and shovels – you will empower farmers to feed themselves and their families.
How Can You Get Involved today?
1. Buy Tools for Food Kits for only $25 each. Your donation will help provide critical tools and seeds for African farmers. http://payment.csfm.com/events/cpar_fog/project.php?id=food_security_nut...
2. Start Your Own Fundraising Campaign. Buy Tools for Food kits for 20 African farmers - $500 fundraising goal. https://payment.csfm.com/events/cpar_fog/register.php?projectid=food_sec...
Ask your friends and family members to support the cause by sending them emails asking for their help. Don't want to do it all alone? You can also create a team and use the collective power of team fundraisng. Motivate your team members to raise funds for the cause.
3. Make a general donation to CPAR's Tools for Food Fundraising Campaign. Our goal is to purchase 500 Tools for Food Kits - a total cost of $12,500. http://payment.csfm.com/events/cpar_fog/project.php?id=food_security_nut...
