Peach Kernel Oil is expeller-pressed from the dried kernel of the Prunus persica fruit, followed by a thorough refining process to yield a neutral, versatile oil. As a lightweight and nongreasy oil, peach kernel oil is advantageous in cosmetic and personal-care formulations for topical applications. Naturally rich in oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids, peach kernel oil is an excellent addition to serums, creams, and lotions for its emollient and moisturizing properties. Its properties most closely resemble those of apricot kernel oil and may be used interchangeably in various applications. As a preferred carrier oil, peach kernel oil is often used in massage therapy with an added essential oil.
