About This Workshop
RMTs! Earn CEU credits. This workshop addresses the clinical use of essential oils in massage, with an emphasis on aroma chemicals and their actions on human biology. Participants will make and take home a custom massage blend.
What are essential oils, and how does their chemistry affect us mentally, emotionally and physically? How can we use essential oil blends to help our bodywork clients along the path to healing?
In this hands-on workshop, you will receive a practical introduction to the art and science of holistic aromatherapy. We'll sample dozens of essential oils and discover why and how they work.
At this comprehensive workshop you'll learn:
• The origins and principles of wholistic aromatherapy
• The 11 chemical groups in essential oils and what these do
• How to create on-the-spot blends of essential oils with carrier oils to nourish and heal the mind-body and spirit of your clients.
You'll create and go home with a customized
• Synergistic essential oil massage blend customized for your total health and happiness!
There's no introductory workshop like this in the city! All materials, take-home items, packaging, handouts, recipes PLUS refreshments are included.
*Bring your reusable mug or water bottle if you like, but please don't bring disposables. Mugs, cups, tea and coffee are provided!
